i'm in baltimore...and i love it here. ive been gone for a few couple days. we drove up, which was way kool! i dunno, the scenery is just so beautiful and really makes you appreciate the gifts of nature. driving thru south carolina and north carolina got up to 105 degrees, crraaaazzzzyy hot.
it was about 6:14pm and my mind just felt at ease, as i peered through the window, i just felt some sort connection...the pine trees, so gigantic and the foggy atmosphere, valleys of Virginia were just soo
breath taking. (i need to get a new digital camera, didn't get to take too many pics). the highway/beltway of D.C. was intense, winding roads, its gonna take me a while to get used to driving there...
Baltimore, i didn't expect to feel so comfortable. it's absolulty beautiful here (the architecture, wow!). i definatly wanna get into the activism scene here, there's a lot that can done...
MICA is realy kool...today my family and i went for a tour of the campus. we got there late and missed the group, im glad we did. so Ian, really kool student took us around...had the chance to see my apartment/dorm...it's soo small (the plus is that each dorm has its own kithcen and bathroom). my drawing and painting classes will be 6 hours long, once a week. and the photo lab is SWEET!!! i also met one of the photo prof. he seems nice.
i think im gonna do the MAT program - 5 yr program graduate w/ a BFA and Masters in Arts Teaching. and i wanna minor in culture/politics or enviro science at university of maryland (i'll see how it all goes the first yr, then decide).
my room mates seem really kool, can't wait to meet them.
i leave miami on aug 23. im gonna miss it : /

things feel so weird now. i feel like im becoming distant from so many people, i dunno... in 6 months it could all be over. i really don't know what direction of the fork im going to take. i still haven't sent off all my college apps, i need to take slides of my work...i was seriously thinking of taking a year off, still contemplating... i'm gonna pursue photo/film, art history. then go to law school for environmental law.
im writing a book w/ my bro, lol. its gonna be good. i've been doing some research on HAARP (high-frequency active auroral research program) sites in alaska and pueto rico, really interesting conspiracy.
i gotta go finish this english paper : (

last night i went to a turtle release, which was really kool. they're soo cute (loggerhead turtles), they're a threatened specie, along with all of the other sea turtles. i took some pics before my batteries died, i'll upload them later...
i finally started my movie, i bought a really sweeet camera... 3 weeks til film festival deadline...uhh i dunno, we'll see how that goes.

im ok...
last week i met up w/ nora, she's really kool. she's helping me w/ the movie. i've decided to put the original one i planned on making on hold, b/c i couldn't find an accommodating date for everyone to meet up. so i wrote a new script with nick and skyler. the story is kinda long to explain but the general theme, is "although you have nothing, you always have something (to offer)" i'll explain later... lol, im hoping to start filming this monday, im trying to get my own camera, so i'll start when i get one. ft. lauderdale film fest deadline is sept 1 and sundance is sept 3... ahhh that's so soon, hopefully i can finish before, well if not i'll just wait for west palm beach film fest or miami film fest next yr january or around that time.
i've been photographing these kids who are trying to get into modeling, they're really kool. thursday was my birthday didn't do much, i was crazy tired.

The balustrade that i've been building over the past years has begin to crumble, and i'm falling and there's no one to catch me. i really haven't been too content lately. over the past years i've pretending that everything is jovial, when it's all not, que va!. yesterday was my grandmother's birthday, she turned 81... she died several hours ago. over the past 5yrs there has been a death every year in my family and oddly around the same time. i feel really bad for my dad, he's out of town and i don't think he's handling it all too well, he takes everything to heart. my mom has been sick, she did a biopsy the other day, hopefully it all goes well.
i'm starting swimming lesson's on sunday, im not so great a swimmer and i want to get my scuba license. i'm going to Georgia at the end of the month to visit my uncle, it would be kool if nick could come, my little muse, to take some shots of him.

last night was aury's party. i had a great time, thanks aury : ) heather and lorren came ( thanks for getting me drunk, ya'll are great ; ). i jummped into the shower when heather was using the tiolet (haha). we saw manatees, that was kool. when my dad picked us up he was stopping at all the intersections where there weren't any stop signs, its was funny, he slowed down in a school zone at 2:30 in the morning, lol, he was out of it...
i got a temp job for next week, that should be kool. over the weekend i took some pictures w/ my digital camera..........
